Steps to set up your ASUS RT AC88U as a repeater mode

2. If it’s the first time, you are interacting with the User’s interface, you will be redirected to the Quick Internet setup page. If it’s not the first time you need to mention the login credential to get to the main web page of the router.
3. Click on the Sign-in tab after mentioning the correct credentials within their respective fields.

9. Click on the Apply tab.
10. If you are setting up a repeater mode for the first time, you need to assign a username and password to prevent the unauthorized entry of anonymous users.
11. After assigning the username and password, click on the Next tab.
12. Configuration of Repeater mode settings is finished. You can utilize the Device Discovery feature to connect to your device and also to check the status of your connection.

Note: The password and the username you will assign should be strong enough to prevent the entry of unwanted users. Enabling the Repeater mode will disable the firewall and other protection from your ASUS RT AC88U router.
